    Message from the President:

Hopefully, everyone has had a great Summer and for those who have traveled away, welcome home! Our September 17th  Board meeting, via ZOOM, is being moved to October 15, 2020. Fortunately, we have not had any pressing issues over the Summer months and, with the Covid19 situation remaining a problem, this postponement will provide a little more time to finish up the proposed Budget for next year and, hopefully, allow for an in person meeting in October.

Because of the excessive heat this past Summer, an Arizona heat record, we have experienced some landscape plant issues. Our landscape people are on it and should have everything cleared up soon. Two items of note:

    ·        General tree trimming is done twice per year. Essentially, Spring and Fall. Trimming during the hottest months of Summer has a tendency to damage the trees, according to the experts, so the Fall trimming will take place around mid to late September. The tree height, for all trees, is 25’ and our landscaper has focused on means to prompt their growth, to that level. The bigger the better when it comes to shade.

    ·        We did have one issue, regarding rear yard landscaping, that required the HOA to intervene to bring the residence in line with our CC&R’s. As a reminder, except for approved trees, there should be no vegetation higher than the height of your yard walls or visible from the street or from a neighbor’s yard.

Enjoy the upcoming Fall season and hopefully, the Covid19 issue will soon be behind us.
