    Urgent Notice Regarding Waste Management

    Attention Montego Bay Homeowners:

We hope you have received our additional message. It is necessary to address a growing concern regarding the use of the trash receptacles throughout our community. Recently, there have been ongoing issues with the disposal of waste exceeding the capacity of our receptacles, leading to significant fines from our waste management provider.

Why This Matters: When even one receptacle is overfilled, it results in a cost increase of over 40% for the entire community. These additional costs strain our budget and detract from other essential services, such as capital improvements, janitorial services, landscaping, pool maintenance, and asphalt upkeep.

How You Can Help: We kindly ask all residents to be mindful of where you deposit your trash. If a container is already full, please take a moment to find a less full receptacle elsewhere on the property. This small effort can make a big difference in avoiding unnecessary fines and preserving our community’s resources.

Next Steps: If we are unable to resolve this issue within the coming weeks, the board may need to implement additional measures that could impact convenience more significantly. To provide some perspective, a single fine for an overfilled canister equates to approximately a $5 charge for every unit in the community.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us manage this situation. Together, we can ensure that our community remains a well-maintained and enjoyable place to live.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

If you have any inquiries or comments please contact our community manager at Vision Community Management.

    Best regards,

    Montego Bay Board of Directors
